The 100 Day Project

I’ve decided to do the 100 day project.  Check the site for all the details.  Fast summary you pick a project and do it for 100 days. It can be anything. A few years ago I took a picture of a tree out back for 100 days.  At first it seemed like I was taking the same picture again and again but slowly it changes. You can post #the100dayproject on social media and check out the world doing the same.

The picture was easy click, post and done.  Your project doesn’t have to be a long time commitment.  Is there anything you want to try out? New tea? Maybe create a new habit? What about sketching a picture for 100 days? Going for a walk (yes even around the block counts) for 100 days.  Drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning for 100 days.  Anything goes.

I’m mulling over a few ideas.  I have other projects on the go so my 100 day project will be something relatively easy and not take a lot of time each day.  Remember if life gets in the way and you miss a day or two it is okay. This is for fun not stress.

The 100 day project starts February 13th, 2022, so we have some time to think of a few ideas and settle on one.  I would love to know if you are interested. Any ideas you might be considering or you think I should!  I’ll update when I nail mine down before February 13th!

You can always start now!

I admire the way you stick to these challenges/projects and never waver from your commitment to them. A trait that is comforting to your followers at least to me. Knowing if I visit your blog or your Instagram there will be another fresh picture craft or post. A hundred days sometimes feels longer than forever, depending on what is going on elsewhere in my life. I know with certainty you will finish and put a smile on my face.

I’ve decided to write a daily post about the old days. Short and sweet. A memory, a fact, or maybe just a photo. I’m looking forward to taking part.

I LOVE this idea! I’m already thinking, but I think what I should do is read a page (or at least a page) of one of the half dozen books I have going at the moment first thing in the morning. Instead of logging onto email or checking social media. I’ll let you know how it goes!
