Earlier this year I decided to challenge myself to creative leaps. Find out more here. Check Chakra Society under the menu for more creative leaps.
The weather hopefully where you are is getting warmer. We don’t have much of a spring – more like a week and into summer. Seriously, I’m not joking. So with the longer and slightly warmer days I thought I’d head out on a scavenger hunt. The hunt might take me the next two weeks and that is okay. I’m not in a hurry.
I’m going to set myself some specific things to look for during my scavenger hunt or photo challenge. This is my list of photos to capture. The great thing about this is that anythings goes. You can create your list.
There are a few things I’ll be looking for:
- my shadow
- a quiet spot
- a stone
- favoriate food
- a tree
- something to climb
- the moon
- a surprise (or something that shouldn’t be where I saw it)
- sunset or sunrise
I would love to know what you’d like to capture. Drop a line in the comments and I’ll add it to my list. Happy hunting.
You can always start now!
On an evening bike ride, my boys and I found a painted stone–a lady in town paints and places them around. It said: “Be kind.” We left it where it was for others to find.

Oh that is a wonderful find. In the fall people here were doing Halifax rocks and painting and leaving them around the province for people to find. Lots of fun pictures.
