I thought it would be fun to check out inexpensive ideas to brighten up our spaces now that Spring is here. All these items are under $40.00 Canadian (and US).
Macrame hanging basket. I think would look pretty anywhere.
This would add warmth to your area. Seagrass basket I think it would hold a good size pot. Also grouping a few of them together would give weight to corner.
This braided cotton table runner is neutral enough for any decor.
If you are like me and not a great picture hanging, I think these would be great picture ledges. I could rotate art work. Maybe put some seasonal art up there and not worry about making more holes.
These would look good inside or out. Lantern they come smaller and cheaper styles.
These little plant pots scream spring to me!
Since I often have plants I am trying to root so this hanging plant container would be ideal. As while rooting they would look great.
There is a colorful, fun doormat that I’m also thinking it could be a conversation starter.
These place mats would add warmth to any table. They remind me a bit of outdoors.
These are just a few of the items I came across that would add a shot of spring to our decor. I would love to hear what you think or any items you are loving.
You can always start now!
I like all of those ideas and yes affordable and available for Canadians – so thanks for sharing those. Lot of times you see fun things you want and then are disappointed not available here.
I remember making macrame plant hangers and owning a few.

Some lovely items here! Wish we had spring to welcome, too. It’s an endless humid summer here in Singapore 😉

I’m on east coast of Canada so we basically don’t have much of a spring. Fall is our beautiful time of year. We had a humid summer last year – it didn’t go over well! Thanks for visiting.
