2019 Intentions

I’m not one to make new year’s resolutions.  I usually set up some goals I want to accomplish during the year and of course I have my weekly “to do” lists.  Some items migrate week to week. Sigh.

But 2019 has me antsy. I think it is because it is just not a new year but the end of a decade. Where do I want to be in 2020? What do I not want to migrate over into a new decade? What do I want to be able to say “I accomplished that…..”  “2019 was when……”  Or just check a few boxes off the wish list period.

So I am taking the end of this year so sit with myself and write out my intentions for 2019. What do I want to finish, start or finally realize that this is not going to happen and let it go.  I think that this is part of the journey – letting go of intentions that no longer serve us. Realizing that what we thought we wanted or needed might no longer be part of our journey and to just take a breath and let go. Not carry them into a new decade.

I already know one intention I am starting.  To be kinder and gentler with myself. I am hoping that one intention will lead to a more peaceful year (life!!) and that alone is so worth something.

I would love to hear your intentions for 2019. Do you feel it is a big year to settle things, get things moving or let things go?

You can always start now!

I tend to keep a rolling list of things I want to focus on. I don’t really try to pin it to any particular date or time frame. It seems I’ve been work on some of them forever. Having intentions or goals is a good thing, and however you focus on them works.

Yes, being kinder and gentler with self helps in many ways….so that’s a great start for the new year indeed…..mine will be always as has been for me, to fight it out with life’s negativities with positiveness, hope, effort and a never say die attitude…..and I believe in sharing and caring, so that will continue 🙂

Those are great intentions also fighting life’s negativities. I don’t think people realize how draining negativity is. For some people I think it is their default. So yes to being positive, having hope and caring. We have this in 2019!!

I exported back to WordPress.com from self-hosting as I wasn’t using it like I thought I would and it was time to pay up again. I’m trying to look at what I need versus want. That could be the reason. I plan on sitting down when I’m off and doing a dump of 2019 intentions and starting from there. Oh plan to publish Christmas Tag on Saturday. thank you.

Oh fab! Looking forward to that. It is interesting to see the side of someone moving back in the wordpress after planning it out. Am definitely more interested in that angle. I like that you can switch back if you have to. And I am glad that gremlins were not dropping blogs in me!! Have a lovely Christmas and will be in and out on the blog all season xx

I emailed someone about who they hosted with and they said no one just WordPress. I have no doubt later if I find I need it someone will take my money and host me!! It was easier than I thought to export everything (post/comment wise over). Main thing was keeping domain. Merry Christmas did Christmas tag today
