Simple Things – easy headbands

I enjoy doing crafts. I’m not great at it, but there is something about using my hands and creating that brings me joy. I think it is getting into the flow or moment and nothing else matter. I grew up with a mother who could turn her hand at ANYTHING. Seriously. There was always yarn, fabric and crochet and embroidery floss around.

You can find me on Pinterest checking out travel, decor, quotes (who doesn’t like a good quote) and crafts. I’m always looking for something to try.  So when I found Designs by Miss Mandee, I felt I had struck gold. I have a box of yarn but not enough to make anything major.

I am not going to reinvent the wheel so check out Designs by Miss Mandee for the tutorial on finger knitting. I made two simple headbands. This is a great way to use up smaller pieces of yarn. Easy and simple. I mean you need your fingers and yarn.

Excuse the natural highlights!

This fits my head and yarn does have some give. I’d say I have an average head with lots of hair. So shorter or longer depending. It was an easy project and great way to use up scraps of yarn.

You can always start now!
