What caught my eye – favorites from the past month

The following are a few things that caught my eye in the past month. Hope something catches your!

tara oxley's brooklyn brownstone / sfgirlbybay

What caught my eye in this Brooklyn apartment was the brick. Check out SF girl by bay for a look at the whole place.

The Art of Doing Stuff  was the first blog I started following and I still visit Karen. She is funny and has a different take on life. Check this post  on it is never too late to learn something new.

Over at Decorista  she is showing 6 places to style your home. I love this table!

Build A Baby Greenhouse With Your Old House’s Windows

I thought these projects were great – using old windows.  Check the 30 projects out over at Cute diy projects.

This caught my eye because it is something I struggle with –  hanging pictures.  Apartment therapy gives specific instructions and numbers. I know how to use a tape measure so this works for me!

A quote to end with.  Hope something here caught your eye!

You can always start now!

We have that exact brick-type on the front exterior of our home – I’ve always loved brick. I learned not too long ago that my great-great grandfather made bricks from clay as a living. Those bricks make-up the lower eight feet of the inside of the family barn that was built in 1917. Oh, and great quote by C.S. Lewis!
