Part of 52 weeks in 52 words !

I am somewhat on the ball this week so headed over to Sacha Black writespiration  Sacha has been giving out writing prompts this year in her 52 week in 52 words. You get the prompt and only have 52 words for your story. This week I accepted the challenge.  Check out Sacha for more details.

The weekly prompt is……

I had faced the music too many times in the past.  Was I ready to go down that path again for this? For them? The openness and possibilities of what lay before me was humbling. I realised I was just a small part of this saga and could just do my part.

You can always start now!

Check Sacha’s blog out. You have I think a week to write it. I write it in Word to make sure it is 52 words. Also Stream of Consciousness Saturday over at Linda G Hill is neat also. Have fun.

I don’t do 52 words often (should) but when I popped in and saw the picture it just all came together what I wanted to write. Enjoy it when you just have that flow. Have a great weekend.

The picture just spoke to me this week. 52 words can be a challenge but I think that is part of the fun. It is enough to get your idea across. Check it out. She posts the next prompt on Wednesday.

Sacha is a fantastic inspiration. I like the idea of 52 words. One of the reasons I joined Twitter was to practice brevity. This might be another great way. Of course, I’m curious what might be behind your story here. 52 words is like an amuse bouche (I think that’s how you spell it anyway…those little nuggets of goodness that a chef sends out out before the appetizers…) 🙂

If you want brevity definitely try out Sacha’s writing prompt. 52 words in a challenge but worth it. Linda G Hill has one-line Wednesdays writing prompt also. Looking forward to seeing what you might churn out!.
