What caught my eye favorites from the past month

It is hard to wrap my head around it being August.  Where is summer going? Our weather here has been great – hot and sunny.  We are getting rain (maybe not enough) but better than other parts of Canada.  So without further ado the following is what caught my eye in the past month.  Hope you find some inspiration.

14 DIY Flower Projects

Over at Tatertots and jello are 14 diy flower-pot projects.  There are a wide variety of projects from wreaths, using natural items to kitchen strainers!

Très Chic DIY Boob Light Makeover

I had to share this light fixture make over – I’m not going to show you the final result you have to check that out for yourself!  It caught my eye, as on my to do list is a new entryway light fixture.  Head over to Curbly.com.  There is a tutorial for the makeover.

I thought this was interesting How to start a writer’s notebook.  Or an inspiration notebook you decide.  It gives topics and ideas from capturing quotes to song lyrics to include.  Over at Letterpile.

Over at A beautifulmess they show us how to create a lovely yarn wall hanging.

Notice a theme of crafting this month?  I must be subconsciously preparing myself for fall/winter projects!  Okay I’m ending with my last craft!

Repurposed Mason Jar Storage

DIYncrafts is giving us 40 rustic twine projects.  40 projects. I know we can find one or two or thirty-seven we are interested in doing!!

So summary I need twine, yarn, beads, notebook and flower pots.  That should do me for the rest of the month!!!  Hope you found a project or two to inspire you.  Let me know and I would love to hear what caught your eye this month,

You can always start now !
