A Different Kind of Monthly Challenge – somewhere new

If you are just visiting for the first time here is a fast recap. In January I decided to challenge myself monthly.  It is a different kind of challenge as I am all over the place.  From listening to new podcasts to snail mail to loving kindness meditation and more.  Check out my other challenges at the end of the post.

Last month I challenged myself to creative prompts. I had lots to choose from as I found incredible creative bloggers.  I managed to do Linda G Hill Life in progress one-liner Wednesday and Stream of Consciousness Saturday.  My plan is to continue to do Stream of Consciousness Saturdays.

I also had a go at Sacha Black writespiration 52 weeks in 52 words.  She gives you a weekly prompt and you have well…..52 words exactly to express yourself.  Both Sacha and Linda link back so you can read all the creative posts submitted.

On my menu you will see challenges.  There you can read what I have been up to the past month.  If you want to get your creative juices going any and all of these creative prompts are great.

I am going to cheat for this month and combine my vacation with my monthly challenge.  So this month head somewhere new. If you are on vacation great, if not check out an art gallery or museum in your area.  Also check your local paper for events and festivals happening. Make the most out of your summer.  I am looking forward to reading what you discovered – please share!  Enjoy!

PS the picture above is somewhere new I found last summer in my own neighbourhood (province).
